twelve clips.
Cheese, the San river, and the Wallachian Culture Trail. Twelve short films.
A cycle of short films about the culture, heritage and nature of Podkarpacie: the Wallachian Culture Trail and the shepherding tradition of cheesemaking, the region's former residents, ecotourism and rafting on the San. We worked on the scripts in autumn 2021, and publication started in December.
Context and idea

A region told not through monuments, but through the people who still carry the tradition — shepherds, cheesemakers, guides. Twelve separate miniatures instead of one promotional film, because the heritage of Podkarpacie has no single protagonist and can't fit into a single shot.

A short form as a genre, not a shortcut. Each clip has its own opening scene, its own sound of place, and its own ending — so the twelve films can be watched separately or in sequence.

The cycle was delivered as a full set and reached the region's tourism channels. Instead of one promotional film, the region got twelve separate miniatures — each can be shown on its own, and together they form a portrait of Podkarpacie.
The cycle lives on the client's channels — Podkarpackie Travel.
